A commercial Bus driver died on Wednesday after his bus crashed with a Bus Rapid Transit Vehicle on Ifako bridge, inward Ogudu, Oworonshoki expressway in Lagos State.
According to eyewitnesses the bus driver who was heading to Ojodu, Berger the bus then collided with the BRT, then somersaulted, the driver, however, died on the spot, this led to a serious, as touts on seeing that the driver is dead, set the BRT on fire.
This incident was confirmed by Adebayo Taofik, the Deputy Director of Public Affairs, at Lagos State Traffic Management Agency. He further said that some LASTMA officers have been deployed to the area, to ease the free flow of traffic.
