Popular Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has officially joined The Honest Bunch podcast, taking over from embattled podcaster Nedu Wazobia.

The announcement was made Sunday night via the podcast’s official Instagram page, which unveiled a new promotional poster featuring Daddy Freeze as part of the hosting crew.

The caption read: “The Honest Bunch podcast just got more unfiltered. Get ready for hotter takes, deeper convos, and unapologetic honesty. Say hello to our latest addition @daddyfreeze.”

Confirming the development, Daddy Freeze reposted the image on his own Instagram page with the caption: “A New Era Has Begun.”

His inclusion comes four months after Nedu stepped down from the podcast amid allegations that he exploited the platform to sleep with aspiring female entertainers in exchange for guest appearances.

It will be recalled that Big Brother Naija star DeeOne, during an episode of the podcast, accused outspoken social media critic VeryDarkMan of being gay.

Responding to the claim, VeryDarkMan fired back with accusations against Nedu, alleging he had used the podcast as a means to sleep with women and even threatened to expose the names of those Nedu claimed to have been involved with in the industry.

Breaking his silence after leaving the show, Nedu addressed the controversy at a press conference, stating that he had no regrets about inviting DeeOne to the podcast.
