Dammy Krane Released from Police Custody, Apologizes to Davido

Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane was released on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 from police detention. This comes six days after his arrest for defamation allegations made on him by fellow artist Davido.

On his X handle, Dammy Krane had accused Davido of requesting his unlawful arrest and detention. The news of his release was shared by social media critic Verydarkman (VDM), who posted a video on Instagram.

Subsequently in the video, Dammy Krane apologized to Davido publicly and withdrew all the allegations that he had made. He also apologized for the statements he made and referred to Davido as his brother.

VDM, in his caption, praised Davido for his understanding and encouraged Dammy Krane to focus on his music moving forward.
