The people of Daura are still yet to get over the return of the ex-president, Muhammadu Buhari, as they’ve organized a Durbar Festival, to welcome their son back to his hometown.
If we can recall, Buhari handed over yesterday to President Tinubu, and immediately after Tinubu and Shettima took their oath of office, he boarded a plane with his wife to Daura.
Meanwhile, Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmed, had in a Twitter post on Tuesday, May 30, revealed that there was an ongoing Dubar ceremony in Daura, held in honor of Buhari, to welcome him back home.
Ahmad had tweeted,
“The Executive Governors of Katsina and Borno states, as well as the APC National Chairman Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, the former SGF, the Chief of Staff, and former ministers and cabinet members of the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari are all here with us at the ongoing Special Durbar in Daura.”
