Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has finally reacted to the rumours associating her with Matthew Ekeinde, the husband to actress Omotola Jalade. These rumors, which for some reason became viral on the internet within a short period, indicated that Ekeinde had bought Etiko a branded car.
During the Instagram Live session, Etiko also categorically denied the allegations stating that they are all lies aimed at tarnishing her image. She denied such rumors and pointed out that she has worked hard and earned nearly every thing she has.
Etiko explained the rumors emerged from a photo that was likely taken years ago when she met Ekeinde on a flight in which he was the pilot. Explaining that out of respect, she had opened greetings and asked him to take a picture together which he did without making any nasty intentions.
The actress expressed her displeasure over the development which she said had been fueled by some people who have the habit of cooking up negative stories for no reason. She made it clear that her achievements are a result of her hard work, not due to any romantic entanglements.
