The Peoples’ Democratic Party’s party agent, Dino Melaye has made a scene challenging the credibility of the INEC result challenging the Ekiti State result.

According to Melaye, the collation of results did not follow due process. This claim had also been made by various party agents in the state.

Recall that Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party had gotten a total vote of 89, 554.

Melaye had caused drama at the collation centre saying,

“The electoral right says that what is uploaded is what should be there (at the INEC portal). You can bundle me out (of the center) but the right thing must be done. I am a party agent.”

Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, the INEC Chairman had called for a break to reconvene an hour later, possibly by 2;30pm, Monday, February 27.
