Don’t Join Real Madrid, Man City- Inzaghi Warns Leao.
Pippo Inzaghi, an Italy star has advised inter Milan player, Rafael Leao to remain in inter Milan despite offers from Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Rafael Leao proved his worth with AC Milan as he became the major striker after Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffered an injury, Milan is holding several talks with him as to the renewal of his contract.
According to Inzaghi, He would advise him to stay in Milan, as Milan is one of the top clubs in Serie A, they win the Serie A title last season and qualified for the champions league.
He also commented that Leao is a good player, but the issue here is in Milan he is the major player but if he transfers to big clubs like Madrid or Manchester and he becomes one out of many, so he better stays in Milan where he is adored.
“If I were him I would stay. Milan has always been the best for me. To wear that shirt, to play at San Siro. A few years ago, you might think of striving for something more prestigious, because Milan was becoming fantastic again. But now they won the league, they make their way to the Champions League.
“Leão is good, but he can be even better. I hope he is convinced. Here he can be a protagonist, at the center of the project. The risk is that in City or Real, he becomes one of many. If I could give him advice, I would tell him to become a flag bearer for Milan, something unique.”
