Glen Hoddle, the ex-England head coach has advised Liverpool not to let man city gap than with wide points in the premier league. Hoddle gave this advice due to Liverpool’s poor start this season. Their first two games ended in a draw and they were thrashed by Manchester United in their third game, leaving them with just two points. Man City as of current has seven points
According to Hoddle, most of Liverpool’s good players could not feature for them because of injuries. Considering the standard Liverpool had set for itself, no one expects them to start the season this way. As they’ve always kept their standards.
He further stated that he believes Jurgen Klopp will do something about this, as Liverpool can’t watch man city gap them with five points at the start of the season.
Hoddle said, “It is not as good as they’d like it to be – they have got a lot of injuries at the moment with key players out.
“It is very difficult to set a standard and keep it, but they’ve had to do it in back-to-back seasons. They had the two domestic cups they won, but all is not well there.
“I think they’ve got enough quality, on and off the pitch, with Klopp and his experience, to turn it back around. But they cannot let City get five, six points away from them so early in the season.”
As at current, Arsenal is currently on top of the table leading with nine points, with them, winning all their three games a feat which they last achieved in 2004.
