Ike Shorunmu, ex-super-eagles goalkeeper thinks that the super-eagles are prepared to take on Portugal in their friendly game and that not even the likes of Ronaldo and Fernandez can scare the super-eagles.
Nigeria will not be participating in this year’s world cup in Qatar but will be hoping to create an impression in their friendly game against Portugal, as this will be the first time that both countries are clashing at the senior Level.
According can Shorunmu, the game will be quite exciting considering that they’ll be playing against Ronaldo’s side, and not even the likes of Ronaldo and Fernandez can scare them.
“This game will be an exciting game for the Super Eagles considering the fact that they will be playing against Ronaldo Portugal’s side.”
“I really don’t think the duo of Ronaldo and Fernandes will be of a threat to the Super Eagles because we have players who are capable of keeping them quiet.”
This Game will show how prepared Portugal is for the world cup, considering that it will be their last friendly before the commencement of the World Cup tournament.
