Barely 24 hours, after he was able to settle the dispute between the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC and the Department of State Service, DSS, President Tinubu is at present, having a close door. Meeting with Abdulrasheed Bawa, EFCC’s boss at Aso Rock.
In what looked like a fracas between the two agencies, on Tuesday, May 30, the DSS officials invaded the EFCC office at Awolowo road, Ikoyi, preventing their staffs from gaining access to their workplace. Their reason for such action, is still yet unknown.
However, President Buhari had been eventually briefed and he immediately issued a directive ordering the DSS to leave the premises.
We are yet to determine the reason f the meeting between Tinubu and Bawa but it is likely that it’s about the fracas between the two agencies.
