Ekweremadu Kidney Donor is 21 not 15 UK court Rules

On Wednesday, The Westminister magistrate court, in the United Kingdom, said that David Nwamini Ukpo the suspected kidney donor, and the said victim is not 15 years. It was reported that David confessed to the court that he is 21 years of age contrary to his previous statement of being 15 years, he also said that since February he has been present in the united kingdom but he only showed himself to the police in May. 

The defendant’s Lawyer rejected the supposed accusation that the senator wanted to take advantage of David since he was reported then to be a minor then. The case has been postponed to August 4, 2022. Meanwhile, Senator Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice are still in detention pending the date of the next hearing. 

The hearing was attended by a certain number of senate members and delegates from the Nigerian High Commission.

Those that were present were former Senate Minority Leader Eyinnanya Abaribe, former Senate President David Mark, former Secretary of State for Education Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, and Senate Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Adamu Bulkachuwa.

Senator Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested in London for the crime of conspiracy to harvest the organ of a said minor David Nwamini Ukpo.
