Election Peaceful In Ogun, Says, Observer

Ogun state, the neighbouring state to Lagos State had very peaceful and violence-free elections, there was no record of thuggery as the residents came out and vote peacefully without a hitch.

Ibrahim Olaniyan, the National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee attested to the fact that the elections were very peaceful in Ogun state.

According to him, in contrast with the Presidential elections in the Ogun state, the election was relatively peaceful, and the residents turned out massively to vote, he also praised the Nigerian Police Force for having ensured that there’s peace in Ogun state.

He said, “I am an observer in Ogun State. We have a peaceful election and the turnout was good than the first election as you can see, the Nigerian police and other securities performed well in the last elections but there is a lot of improvement today.”
