Elon Musk Announces Plan to Compensate Content Creators

Elon Musk has just announced to Twitter advertisers that he isn’t buying the social media company to make more money, and also hinted at compensating content creators on the platform.

In a statement that was released on Thursday, October 27, Mr. Musk revealed that Twitter would begin prioritizing relevant ads that educate its users.

In the personal notes to advertisers published via his Twitter handle, Musk explained that adverts should be done appropriately to entertain and inform, adding that anything outside the description was spam.

 Musk tweeted:

“Fundamentally, Twitter aspires to be the most respected advertising platform in the world that strengthens your brand and grows your enterprise. To everyone who has partnered with us, I thank you. Let us build something extraordinary together.”

Musk in his statement also revealed that one of the reasons he decided to purchase Twitter was to ensure freedom of opinion, even though there were consequences to some actions or statements.

He then spoke out against the culture of silencing targeted persons from airing their minds because their opinion(s) was against what other groups believe in.

Musk has until October 28, 2022, to finalize his deal to acquire Twitter or face a court trial for trying to back out of the deal.
