Nigeria’s former lawmaker and social critic, Senator Shehu Sani, has predicted the crisis Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central bank might face when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office.
According to Sani, the CBN governor’s situation was like the case of a “Zebra in the hands of tigers,” when Buhari vacates office on May 29.
According to media reports, the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and other state governors in the All Progressives Congress have not found the naira redesign policy pleasant.
The naira redesign had also purged numerous Nigerians into untold hardships as the new naira notes became scarce.
