Chelsea FC’s winger Estevão Willian has experienced the injury of his life, which is casting doubt over his presence in the Brazil national football team’s World Cup squad, as he has suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season.
During Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Manchester United last weekend, the 18-year-old had to be taken off after grabbing an injury. Scans have confirmed the hamstring strain, so he will be out of action for the rest of the season.
Unfortunately, this problem occurred just when Estevao had been consistently appearing in the line-ups as head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s favorite during the lead-up to this summer’s World Cup in North America.

Although the people closest to the player are still positive about the length of his rehabilitation time, there is still a question mark over whether he will be well enough to play right from the beginning of the tournament.
Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior opened up about his son’s emotional trauma, being “devastated” and “in tears” when he left the pitch.
After completing his transfer from SE Palmeiras, Estevao has made a name for himself with his debut season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 36 outings.
