Ini Edo’s “shanty town” made its debut on Netflix on Friday. The series was serenaded by A-list Nigerian actors like Chidi Mokeme, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Sola Sobowale, Shaffy Bello, Nancy Isime, and other star actors. The series revolves around three Lagos-based hustlers who Unite to fight against a street Lord named “Scar”.
Amongst those featured in the series, Big brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke played a part in the series and fans have gone online to praise the “Queen Lambo” for her terrific performance as an actor.
Hailing Mercy for her role, @SteveChuks_ tweeted, “Mercy Eke is ‘finishing’ this acting in this Shanty Town series.”
Another fan, @Thedeluxejojo, said, “Mercy Eke tried for someone new to acting, especially that scene when she got teary when Scar was about to kill her. all she needs is some coaching and she is good to go.”
