The Federal Civil Service Commission, FCSC, has refuted reports that it is presently recruiting into Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
The Head of FCSC Press, Mr Taiwo Hassan had urged Nigerians to ignore the fake news.
The commission had also disassociated itself from the recruitment reports and warned Nigerians to be cautious of the activities of fake recruitment syndicates and scammers.
The statement released by FCSC read:
“We clearly wish to declare that the commission is not at the moment, not recruiting for now. Those online publications are misleading and should be ignored. The alleged recruitment exercise publicised online and on any other platforms did not come from the commission.“The commission wishes to warn members of the public to be careful of the activities of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers. To avoid any doubt, there is no fresh appointment going on presently in the commission.
“Whenever the commission officially begins any recruitment exercise, it will be publicly announced on the commission’s official website,” the statement finished.
