Finland’s Economy Minister Vilhelm Junnila has tendered his resignation, just 10 days into his tenure, following controversial statements connected to Nazis, according to the nationalist Finns Party.
In a statement, Junnila expressed his inability to continue as a minister in a manner that upholds the government’s integrity and Finland’s reputation.
Junnila, affiliated with the Finns Party, was part of a right-wing coalition that assumed power on June 20, subsequent to the April elections.
