Popular Nigerian actress and producer, Funke Akindele has broken down during an Instagram Live session of hers after a troll commented that she would lose her children.
The Instagram live had been held after the brother of a deceased Jenifa’s Diary actress, Adejumoke Oreoluwa Aderounmu, called Akindele out for not showing love to his sister while she was alive.
The actress had cried out that Nigerians had always criticised whatever she tried her hands on. In her words:
“Politics I was criticised on, Marriage I was bashed, and now someone is saying that I’ll lose my kids.
I was depressed, I lost my mother and my marriage. Stop saying I’ll bury my own children. I have my trying moments too.”
This emotional break down had drawn the sympathy of her online fans who berated everyone involved and encouraged people to be a little more kinder with their utterances.
