On the German army Sunday, April 23 currently moved out 101 people from Sudan, where a serious dispute between rival generals has entered its second week.
The aircraft, an Airbus A400M conveying the evacuees have been reported to have landed safely in Jordan at midnight, the local time (21:00 GMT).
A total of three A400Ms arrived in Sudan on Sunday, April 23 to pick up the citizens to be shepherded to safety.
Several other countries have also begun rescuing their citizens from Sudan, including Britain, France, and the United States of America.
A ceasefire had been agreed to beforehand, for the duration of the rescue mission.
The conflict between army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s forces and his former deputy Mohamed Hamdan Daglo’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) had begun on April 15 over a disagreement on a planned integration of the RSF into the regular country’s army.
