Ignatius Kaigama, the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja Diocese, had on Sunday, April 23, spoken out for proactive measures to be taken for the kidnappings, violence, and unprovoked attacks on citizens if the country to drastically reduce as is slowly becoming commonplace in the country.
The cleric had appealed his homily on the third Sunday of Easter mass held at St. Mulumba’s Parish, Igu, in Abuja.
He had additionally expressed his pastoral solidarity to the church parishioners and their Parish priest, Rev Fr. John Jimoh on account of the security challenges the community in Igu had been facing due to attacks by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
