Otto Addo, Head coach of the Ghanaian national team, is very confident that they have all it takes to overcome every hurdle at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars of Ghana are the lowest ranked in the World Cup tournament, they share Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.
Ghana is to face Portugal in their first game, on November 24th.
According to Otto, they have a lot of quality players in their team, as he sees that training, seeing how they defeated Nigeria, they have quality in their camp.
He also said that his players have adjusted very well, seeing that all his players are in good shape, they can be a threat to other teams considering their qualities.
“We have a lot of quality. I see that in training and in our matches too. It was an especially tough game against Nigeria but we competed with them even though we’d made a lot of changes,” coach Addo told FIFA.
“The players adapted very well and very quickly. I think we’ve got a bright future ahead of us with all the talented young players we have, especially because we have the right balance with the older and more experienced players.
“We’re in good shape defensively, we read the game well and have a good feel for when to press the opposition at the right time. We’ve got a great deal of quality up front, our class. We can do damage one-on-one and with our speed.”
