President Buhari is currently heading the Council of State meeting held at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.
This will be the first council meeting since 2023, and it is coming 14 days before the presidential elections amidst Nigeria’s fuel and cash scarcity.
Present for the meeting is former Heads of State, General Yakubu Gowon, Abdulsalami Abubakar, and former President Goodluck Jonathan among others.
Also, present for the meeting are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, The Attorney-General of the Federation, the Minister of Justice, and two former Chief Justices of Nigeria.
