Governor Nwifuru to Employ 195 Health Workers in Ebonyi State

The governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru has endorsed the immediate recruitment of more than 195 medical directors, nurses and other health personnel to help curb the health challenges in the 13 general hospitals in the State.

This governor had made this known via a statement signed and issued to journalists in Abakaliki by his Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, on Sunday, June 11.

The statement revealed that the recruitment would employ 39 doctors, 39 nurses, 39 laboratory scientists, 39 pharmacists and 39 health attendants.

The Head of Service and Chairman Civil Service Commission have been directed to quickly begin the process of recruiting qualified medical personnel to fill the existing vacancies.
