The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has condemned the attack which led to the killing of the Catholic faithful in Ondo state.
The Governor who made this known on his Facebook page condoled with the grieving families and the Governor of Ondo state and asked that God grants eternal rest to all who lost their life.
“My heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Ondo State on the gruesome murder of innocent worshippers at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, today by rampaging criminals.
This is one out of many acts of unprovoked killing of Nigerians. More disheartening is the desecration of our place of worship with the blood of the innocent. I pray God comforts the bereaved families and grant eternal rest to all who lost their life.
To my brother Governor, Arakurin Rotimi Akeredolu, I pray for strength in these trying times. This too shall come to pass.
As the day follows night, I am confident that these criminals will never have the last laugh.
