In a coordinated early morning attack, a significant number of armed men alleged to be bandits have attacked a private estate, early Monday morning at Gwarimpa, Abuja. The bandits were said to have been armed with dangerous weapons such as cutlasses, daggers, and machetes, and the weapons were used to surmount and subdue the security men thereby gaining access to the estate.
The bandits allegedly arrived at the private estate named, Genuine Estate, situated at 6th avenue in the early hours of 1 am, Monday morning, and were gone from the premises by 4 am.
“They operated in the estate for about three hours. They abducted some of the residents”. An undisclosed source has been reported.
However, many details are still unclear at the time of this post. The Deputy Superintendent of the Police of the area, Josephine Adeh, has nonetheless, reported that it was a suspected robbery case and that police officers had been dispatched to the scene to find out how the incident happened.
