Argentine prodigy, Lionel Messi has outshined Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo to be the footballer with the most Guinness World Records.
The world record body had shared the improved chart of the Most Guinness World Records Titles Achieved By Footballers on their official Twitter handle on Tuesday, August 1.
In the new update, Messi currently holds 41 records; one record more than second-placed Ronaldo who holds 40 records.
Robert Lewandowski with 9 records, Kylian Mbappe with 5 records and Neymar with 4 records had completed the top five chart.
Guinness World Records had tweeted:
“For now, Messi is clear and ahead of Ronaldo who has 40 records to Messi’s 41.”
