According to local authorities, gunmen had reportedly stormed a water park in central Mexico on Saturday, April 15, and shot at six adults and a child, causing panic and mayhem among those present.
Police officials have revealed that they arrived at the scene to discover the bodies of three dead women, three men, and a seven-year-old minor, in addition to one seriously wounded person.
According to local news, the gunmen had arrived at the La Palma swimming resort at 4:30 pm local time (22:30 GMT) to commit the crime. The attackers, it was said, had gone directly toward a group of people and opened fire, after which they removed security cameras from the site before fleeing.
