Not quite long, Man city’s head coach Pep Guardiola predicted that signing Erling Haaland will be a blessing to the club. Jack Grealish, Man city’s midfielder also expressed his excitement as he revealed that he is eager to play alongside Haaland. They both described him as an unstoppable force.
At the friendly preseason match with Bayern Munich, Haaland scored the goal that gave man city a 1-0 win over Bayern Munich.
The game started as a disaster, as electric storms ravaged the stadium, and the players had to be taken off the field for safety. Man City tried their best to score at the start of the game, De Brunye and Grealish made some shots at the goal post, but they went by the side of the post. Bayern netted the ball into the goal post but it was ruled as an offside. Five minutes into the end of the first half, Haaland netted the ball into the goal post, but it was also ruled offside. Finally, Haaland scored the goal that gave Man city a slim win over Bayern.
It was indeed a tough match to watch, as both teams brought in their A game. Haaland actually proved that signing him is indeed a blessing to Man city.
