Even though it might not be aesthetically pleasing to some, the celebration of “Halloween” is always one to watch out for, mainly because it has people flaunting their creativity.

What is Halloween?

Ever wondered what Halloween is and why it is always dark and mysterious? Here is the reason;

Originating from the word “Hallow” which means: A saint, holy person or an apostle. Halloween is a holiday celebrated every October 31. It is dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints, martyrs, and the souls of the departed.

In this part of the world, Halloween is not anybody’s concern o! It is considered to be a western thing. However, the curiosity has always been there and in the very recent past, I have realized that we are starting to get involved. Most people from this part of the world have taken to social media to show their “gothic” creativity. Some people create fashion looks while others share their gothic inspired make up look on the gram. Slowly, we are getting the Halloween bug and what a sight it is!

To observe the Halloween celebration, most people dress as their favorite movie character, celebrity or public figure. Others draw inspiration from Horror movies, “ghosts” and any other dark thingy.
