Now famous Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci who caused a storm on various social media platforms two weeks ago, after she attempted to and broke the Guinness World Record, GWR for the longest cooking hours by an individual by 100 hrs, –which at present, is still held by Indian chef, Lati Tandon– has asked potential record breakers to wait till she’s certified by the GWR before trying to break her record.
Ms. Baci had made this plea during an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday, May 23.
While she had acknowledged that the attempts to break her record was an indication that she was able to achieve something great, she had appealed to the individuals attempting to break her record, to wait until she has been certified officially by the Guinness World Record so they can actually break the record.
Generally, it takes time to certify a person, as rules have to be checked to determine if they were broken or not. Current holder of the title, Lati Tandon had revealed that it took two months, for her to be certified. Additionally, Nigerian dancer, Kaffy, a Guinness World Record Holder had revealed that it took two weeks for her record to be certified.
