How Women Are Better at Hiding Cheating — Toke Makinwa Explains

Nigerian actress and media entrepreneur Toke Makinwa has shared her thoughts on infidelity, arguing that women are often more discreet when it comes to cheating compared to men.

The media personality made the remarks during a recent episode of her Toke Moments podcast, where she spoke candidly about relationships, fidelity and societal double standards.

According to Makinwa, cheating should not automatically be viewed as a male issue, stressing that women are equally capable of being unfaithful — and in some cases, find it easier to do so.

How Women Are Better at Hiding Cheating — Toke Makinwa Explains

“Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me but it comes with a caveat. When I say it some people think that I am encouraging cheating. No. As I grow older, I realised that it is not just men who can cheat. Why are we making these men feel so special as if it is only them?” she said.

She went on to explain that men often have to invest time, money and effort to cheat, while women, in her view, may not face the same hurdles.

“Do you know how easy it is for a woman to cheat? It is even easier for us. But men will spend money, efforts and time to cheat,” she added.

Makinwa further argued that women often receive attention effortlessly, which makes infidelity more accessible if they choose to act on it.

“But we, we are the ones receiving. It is easier for women to cheat. You know, we have work boyfriend. A woman not cheating is not because she cannot cheat, it is probably because she has one thing you lack, it is strength,” she said.

Concluding her point, the podcast host claimed that while women may cheat more often, they tend to be more discreet about it.

“Women cheat more, but they know how to hide it,” Makinwa stated.
