Young activists and Muslim clerics in Somalia’s capital city have marshalled hundreds of people whom are avid supporters of Palestinians in Gaza – a lot of whom have been left with no food, water or shelter after Israel forced a siege in retribution for deadly attacks on its citizens by Hamas militants.
Some of the supporters had shouted: “Free Palestine, we stand by you!” during the Friday demonstration.
Still others had read from the Quran, and their religious leaders had told Somalis to pray to Allah to spare the Palestinians’ hardship.
Other African nations that have been seen in recent days supporting Palestinians include South Africa, Tunisia, Morocco and Kenya.
Note that most of the world heavyweights have lent their support to Isreal, encouraging the Palestine government to stand down.
