Brazilian forward, Neymar Jnr has revealed he was rooting for himself to win the world cup. He was asked to choose who he thinks will win the world cup between Mbappe and Messi, and he replied that it’s still very hard to talk about the world cup game, as he was rooting for himself to win.

That’s hard to talk [about] now,” he said.

“I was rooting for myself.”

If we can recall, Argentina defeated Croatia on Tuesday to qualify for the 2022 World cup finals, while France on Wednesday defeated Morocco to qualify for the 2022 world cup finals, it’s officially a Mbappe vs Messi situation.

The 2022 world cup took a twist as Argentina was not part of the favorites to make it to the finals, Brazil which everyone thought will make it to the world cup crashed out after losing to Croatia on Penalties.
