Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has revealed in a video, that her initial career purpose was to become a Pastor, and not an actress, but acting came unexpectedly.
Tonto Dikeh who was unveiled as ADC’s Deputy Governorship candidate, made this revelation in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
According to her, acting and entertainment is something God ordained for her, considering that it was not a career she wanted for herself, as she always saw herself as a pastor while growing up.
“I’m an opportunist with this thing called acting or entertainment. But God has ordained that step already. For me, I was just swimming in a swimming pool,” she said.
“I mean, I was a church girl going to be a pastor. I was supposed to be a pastor, I still might be. Depending on where God is taking me,” she added.
Tonto Dikeh is no small name in the Nollywood industry, considering that she has been in the industry for a while.
