Nigerian rapper Ice Prince, whose real name is Panshak Zamani, has openly shared his struggles with smoking and his desire to quit the habit.
In a candid conversation during a recent episode of the Konnected Minds podcast, which was shared on X on Saturday, Ice Prince explained how his knowledge of rolling cannabis has made it difficult for him to quit smoking entirely.
Reflecting on his past decisions, the rapper expressed regret over learning how to roll, admitting that if he had never acquired the skill, he might have been able to control his smoking habit better—or possibly never smoked at all.
“One of the things that I wish I could unlearn is how to roll cannabis. I wish I had never learned that because if I hadn’t learned it, I would probably smoke with a bit of moderation or not even smoke,” he confessed.
Ice Prince elaborated on how this knowledge affects his daily life: “But because I know how to roll, I smoke whenever I wake or in the studio. I don’t let anyone roll cannabis for me. I don’t do drugs, I don’t mix cannabis with any crazy stuff. I wish I had never learned how to roll.”
His open admission has sparked conversations online, with fans acknowledging his honesty and vulnerability in addressing his personal struggle.
