With the knowledge of the May 5 sentencing of the former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice for organ harvesting, several well-known Nigerians and Africans have kept on appealing to the UK Court for clemency on both the troubled Nigerian Senator and his wife.
In a last-minute clemency plea, members of the Ikeoha Mpu Pacesetters League, IMPL, have added their voices in calling on the UK Court to show clemency to their mentor, and brother by releasing him and his wife unconditionally from jail.
Additionally, the indigenes of Mpu community had held a prayer vigil until the early hours of yesterday to pray for Godly intervention in the high-profile case.
