Rotini Akeredolu, the Ondo State Governor, has written a letter to notify the state House of Assembly, about the medical leave that he’d be embarking on for 21 working days as a result of his health condition.
The State House Of Assembly has additionally, been notified that Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the deputy governor would act on behalf of the governor until his return.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, had made this disclosure on Tuesday, June 13 while confirming the receipt of the governor’s letter.
According to Oladiji, the governor had embarked on a 21-day leave for medical treatment abroad that began on June 7, 2023, and would terminate on July 6, 2023.
Oladiji then concluded the statement by wishing the governor a speedy recovery.
