I’ll  Like To Work With Ronaldo, No Negotiations Yet- Spalletti Commented on Ronaldo And Osimhen Swap.

Osimhen’s agent publicly debunked the reports going about an alleged swap between Ronaldo and Osimhen, stating that it is false.

Luciano Spalletti, Napoli’s head coach has stated that it would be a privilege to have Ronaldo on his team.

According to Spalletti, no coach would reject the offer to work with Ronaldo, but just as Calenda has said no negotiations have been made yet. As he discussed with the President of Napoli, De Laurentiis and he told him that no offer of such sort has been made.

He further said that it’s very unlikely for such a deal to be contracted as the transfer window is just some days away from closing,  they’ll rather focus on their reality,  rather than reminence on what is unlikely to happen.

He admitted that even if such a deal was to happen, it wouldn’t be in form of swaping, it will be two proper signings. They currently would put their focus on their matches, rather than dwell on a rumor that will not help them win matches.

Spalletti said: “If you’re asking me if I’d like to work with Ronaldo, I tell you no coach would say no to that. However, if we go into those areas the journalists like to fill in for themselves, then as Osimhen’s agent said, there are no negotiations.

“Speaking to (President Aurelio) De Laurentiis, he told me that he received no offer, so let’s remain as realistic as possible here and take into consideration only things that could happen.

“There are only a few days left in the transfer window, it seems unlikely that could go through. There is nothing concrete at the moment.”

He continued: “It wouldn’t be a swap, it would be two different signings, in that case. One of the two can turn a game by himself. But in any case, at the moment we should not consider things that won’t help us pick up three points in Florence.
