If we can recall, Belgian pro champions, Brugge were said to be interested in Genk’s forward, Paul Onuachu. As they consider him a suitable alternative just in case their deal with StrumGaz for Ras Hojlund doesn’t pull off. And Genk’s manager, Vracken Wouter in an interview, disclosed that there’s every possibility that Onuachu might leave the club this Summer.
Club, Brugge submitted a bid to Genk for Onuachu, since their deal to get Rasmus Hojlund didn’t pull off, as Rasmus ditched Brugge for serie A club Atlanta. Genk however rejected the bid. Report has it that Genk is not interested in selling Onuachu to their Rival club or any at all in Belgium.
Onuachu was fantastic for Genk last season as he emerged as Genk’s top goal scorer last season as he has 33 goals to his name in 38 league appearances. He was unable to feature in Genk’s three first games this season due to an injury.
