Veteran Nigerian rapper Illbliss has shared timely advice with emerging musicians, encouraging them to establish alternative sources of income while pursuing their music dreams.
Posting on his X account over the weekend, the respected hip-hop figure underscored the challenges of navigating the music industry, stressing the need for financial stability through multiple income streams.
“Dear Upcoming….Little advice from IllBliss. Learn a skill or find a second and third hustle that will help you keep the lights on,” he wrote.
He further explained that branching out into other ventures not only helps sustain livelihood but also allows artistes to concentrate on honing their craft.
