Canadian singer Justin Bieber has opened up about his ongoing emotional challenges, revealing a deep sense of frustration, burnout, and self-doubt as he grapples with pressure to heal and grow.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Bieber spoke candidly about how constant efforts to change have left him overwhelmed and angry rather than at peace.
“People keep telling me to heal, don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already?” he wrote. “I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them, and it just keeps making me more tired and more angry.”
Bieber also admitted that self-improvement has often made him overly focused on himself, which has taken a toll on his mental well-being.
“The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am,” he said. “Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others, because honestly, I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately. Aren’t you?”
The artist’s transparency struck a chord with many fans, particularly those facing similar struggles around identity, pressure, and emotional exhaustion. Rather than pretending to have all the answers, Bieber leaned on his Christian faith as a guiding light.
“I’m tired of thinking about myself,” he concluded, expressing a desire to move from self-focus toward a life of service and spiritual purpose.
