Adeleye Adebayo, Super Eagles substitute coach is excited to make his debut for his country, in the super eagle’s friendly test match against Algeria team B on Friday night.
The game which ended in a 2-2 draw, saw Karim Aribi, score the first goal for Algeria, putting them in the lead, Alex Iwobi equalized for Nigeria. In the second half, Maduka Okoye was replaced by Adeleye Adebayo. Dessers scored another goal for Nigeria putting Nigeria in the lead, unfortunately, Aymen Mahious equalized for Algeria in a penalty.
Speaking on his debut for the super eagles, Adebayo considers it an honor to play for the super eagles, and he is really excited to play for his country.
He further said that they are preparing hard to see that they win the next game with Algeria’s main team which is FIFA sanctioned on Tuesday.
“It’s great to play for the Super Eagles, I’m just happy to make my debut for the Super Eagles. I’m just happy to play for my country,” he told NFF TV.
“It would have been great to keep a clean sheet, but it was a penalty and there was nothing I could do about it.
“We are working hard in training and looking forward to the next game on Tuesday.”
