The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has recently announced that direct entry form sales will end on May 26, 2023. The board also announced that registration for the exam will end on May 30.
Fabian Benjamin, the Deputy Director General of Public Affairs and Protocols, had stated in a statement on Tuesday:
“The 2023 DE registration, which commenced in February 2023, will be expanded to all candidates wishing to register. It was temporarily suspended to facilitate the introduction of certain safety measures designed to increase the sanctity of the exercise.
The DE 2023 Registry has several features designed to improve the Board’s ability to permanently fill gaps that have been exploited by some stakeholders in the past, and thus many others.
This new system reveals the number of reported counterfeiting and other violations in the DE value chain, one of the many benefits of regulated DE registration.”
