The January transfer window is now well underway, and there are some big moves being played out in the world of football. From confirmed moves to speculation about big clubs, here’s a roundup of what has been happening.

Confirmed Transfers

Chuba Akpom (29): The striker removes himself from Ajax’s roster with a loan and an option to buy to Ligue 1 side Lille.

Patrick Dorgu (20) Signed for Manchester United on a five year dealas they announced the signing at the Old Trafford

Kevin Danso (26): Centre-back has joined Tottenham on loan from Lens.

Matheus Cunha (25): Wolves have seen off speculation regarding the Brazilian striker by tying him down to a new four-and-a-half-year deal.

Arthur Melo (28): The Brazilian midfielder has signed on loan for Girona from Juventus until the end of the season.

DANIEL MALDINI (23) PAOLO MALDINI’S son Daniel has signed for Atalanta from Monza for £9.2 million.

Ayden Heaven (Manchester United): The young defender joins the Red Devils from Arsenal on a deal running until 2029, with the option of an additional year.

Speculation Highlights

Marcus Rashford (27): Reports suggest that Aston Villa are set to sign Rashford on an initial loan with a €45 million purchase option. Fabrizio Romano announced that personal terms have already been reached over it.

Marco Asensio, 29: Villa are also in talks with PSG to bring in the Spanish forward on loan, according to David Ornstein.

Rayan Cherki (21) Borussia Dortmund are expected to land the Lyon playmaker, with reports claiming a deal worth around €22.5m is on the brink. And it is reported that Cherki has already given the green light for the move.

Lloyd Kelly (26): The defender has joined Juventus on loan, with Newcastle United having agreed £20 million purchase option in the summer.

Santiago Gimenez (23): Feyenoord’s striker soon to be at AC Milan after €35 million offer accepted.

Diant Ramaj (23): Borussia Dortmund are interested in Ajax’s young shot-stopper.

Tariq Lamptey (24): Ajax are interested in the Brighton defender as a replacement for Devyne Rensch, who has recently gone to Roma.

Ongoing Talks

Alvaro Morata (32): AC Milan will send the striker to Galatasaray on-loan.
