WWE icon John Cena has announced his retirement timeline from in-ring competition. At WWE Money in the Bank in Toronto, Canada, the 16-time world champion revealed he will retire from wrestling in 2025.
Cena specified that the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas will mark his final appearances. Promoting his ‘John Cena Farewell Tour 2025’, Cena remarked, “I’ve been with WWE for over two decades, experiencing both incredible prosperity and tough times. WWE is currently the hottest ticket, but there were periods when only the most dedicated fans supported us.”
He also expressed his intention to be involved when Raw transitions to Netflix in January.
Cena, who debuted in WWE in 2002, has been taking a part-time role since 2018 to pursue his acting career.
