When it comes to voting in 2023, former President Goodluck Jonathan has advised Nigerians to put nationalism, unity, and peace first.

Jonathan noted that the anniversary fell as the country was gearing up for its general elections in a message of goodwill that he personally signed in Abuja to commemorate the 2022 independence day.

He asked Nigerians to put the country’s peace and unity first in their election campaigns and voting decisions in 2023.

On the 62nd anniversary of Nigeria’s independence, the former president sent greetings to all Nigerians.

According to Jonathan, the occasion provided Nigerians with a chance to consider the meaning of nationhood as well as the potential for growth and greatness. He also noted that the populace had shown steadfast patriotism despite adversity.
