In December 2022, Anthony Joshua stated that he will be prepared to face Tyson Fury, the current world champion.
This was stated by the British boxer in response to a Monday public challenge for a “Battle of Britain.” Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine defeated Joshua in their August title rematch in Saudi Arabia.
The 32-year-old appears keen to fight again before 2022 comes to an end, though. Fury had stated that he’d wants to give Anthony Joshua the chance to fight for the WBC heavyweight championship of the world and the lineal championship in the coming months.
On his Instagram story, Joshua reacted, stating that if Fury was sincere and not just participating in online discourse, he would be willing to fight. “I don’t do online discussions just for clout. So if you’re really about it, shout @258mgt. I’ll be ready in December.”
