A teenager named, Iro Kwarangal stabbed his mother, Jummai to death, over a disagreement, in Rimin Kebe’s quarters in Unogogo L.G.A of Kano State.
According to an eyewitness, he said around 5:30 pm on Wednesday he heard a scream coming from the deceased house, so he went there to check, on getting there he saw Jummai laying on the floor with several stab wounds, she was immediately rushed to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead at arrival due to amount of blood she lost.
She has been buried yesterday, according to Muslim rites, however, the son ran away, and they are still searching for him.
“I was standing outside my house when I suddenly heard screaming from the deceased residence,” an eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity told our correspondent
Abdullahi Haruna, the police spokesperson of the state confirmed the Incident and promised to give full details as regards the incident.
