Movie marketer Kazim Adeoti went viral for the wrong reasons at the premiere of Thin Line, a movie produced by his second wife, Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe-Adeoti. The premiere, which took place on Tuesday night, December 10, 2024, was graced by numerous celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo, Faithia Williams, Nkechi Blessing, and skit maker Cute Abiola.

While the event celebrated Mercy’s latest work, Kazim’s outfit became an unexpected topic of controversy. Netizens quickly pounced on his style, with many arguing he could have done better for such a high-profile event. Some even blamed Mercy for not making sure her husband looked polished.

Others rose to Kazim’s defense, saying he expressed his taste and that people should stop being overly critical.

The conversation about Kazim’s look has since eclipsed the movie itself, proving that in Nollywood, no detail goes unnoticed-or uncriticized.
